POLICIES AND CLIENT INFORMATION

Clear boundaries protect your privacy, safety and right to choose.

These plain-language summaries help you understand the service before enquiring. The formal counselling agreement and privacy information provided before intake will govern the work.
Vivid Resolutions collects only information needed for a defined counselling, safety, legal or administrative purpose. Records are kept in approved systems with access limited to authorised use. Sensitive case information is not entered into general-purpose artificial-intelligence systems.
Counselling begins only after informed consent. Information is kept confidential except where disclosure is required or justified by law, safeguarding responsibilities, serious safety concerns or another limit explained in the written agreement.
Online sessions require a private setting, a reliable connection and confirmation of your location at the start of each session. Backup contact and emergency procedures are agreed in advance. Online care may not suit every circumstance.
Current fees and payment arrangements are confirmed before intake. Cancellation, late arrival and rescheduling terms are provided in the written agreement before you commit to counselling.
Local emergency and safeguarding contacts vary across the Caribbean. If there is immediate danger, contact your local police or ambulance service. Clients in Trinidad and Tobago may call Police 999, Ambulance 811 or 800-COPE (2673); to report child abuse or access protective services, call the Children’s Authority at 996 or 800-2014.
The service is for adults and operates within a defined counselling scope. Where risk, safeguarding needs, psychiatric care, medical care, forensic work or specialist treatment falls outside that scope, referral or emergency guidance may be required.
Email, telephone and messaging are used only for limited administrative communication. They are not counselling channels, are not continuously monitored and should never be used for emergencies.
Records are retained and disposed of according to applicable legal, professional and operational requirements. You may ask how your information is used and request correction of inaccurate administrative information, subject to lawful limits.
If you have a concern about the service, raise it directly so it can be addressed fairly and documented. The formal agreement will explain the complaints route and any relevant external option.
Vivid Resolutions aims to provide respectful service without discrimination. Share practical accessibility needs during the fit consultation so that suitability and reasonable arrangements can be considered.
